MIGUEL PINZON
I am a Toronto based muralist and illustrator who specializes in a dynamic, realistic style of airbrushing. I attended and graduated in both Digital Media Arts and Art Fundamentals at Seneca College, and in Studio Arts at University Of Toronto. My background in art is extensive and I have been doing art professionally for many years, however, my artistic strength is in Airbrushing.
I first started back in 2007, when one of the managers from Canada's Wonderland approached me on campus if I had any experience working in the field of airbrushing. Though, approving of my artistic background the manager gave me a shot. Within two weeks of training, I got to work right away, airbrushing t-shirts, hats, helmets, car parts, skateboards, etc, and also airbrushing at special events and birthday parties. The result was well worth the effort, and that launched my career in airbrushing murals.
During my years of Airbrushing murals for restaurants, business establishments, schools and residences I have depicted a wide variety of subject matter in my work. Everything from jungle themes, graffiti, comic book characters, exotic animals, sunset beach themes, sci-fi and fantasy themes and celebrity portraits. I am capable of illustrating almost anything you can imagine. I can work from photographs, or can make custom designed artwork. Furthermore, my work has been featured in Art Side Out, Canada's Wonderland, and University Of Toronto.
